RaceChip's Half Mile ... 500.000 sold Chip's

And the success of the Göppingen company continues

Göppingen, February 18.02.2016, 2016. RaceChip Chiptuning sold the 500.000 at the beginning of 6. Chiptuning module. The position as market leader should thus be impressively underlined again and the front-runner in the industry for electronic performance enhancements remains the undisputed top dog. With the Connect feature for the popular Ultimate RaceChip and the introduction of the first additional control unit for optimizing the performance of cars, including digital sensor technology, the company was once again able to demonstrate its rapid growth. The anniversary RaceChip tuning box, with which the company completed half a million chip tuning modules, was a RaceChip Ultimate that went directly to an enthusiastic Audi AXNUMX driver in Munich.

Constant growth of the company

Since it was founded in 2008, the company has steadily advanced its successful growth and is now right at the forefront where it belongs. The four employees at the beginning have since become a team of almost 100 car-crazy employees who have turned their enthusiasm into a profession. Due to the growth in personnel, the move to the new premises in Göppingen in the immediate vicinity of the warehouse and dispatch center took place a good two years ago. The development department, customer service and also the media and marketing team are based in Göppingen, which is also the linchpin for the international dealer network. Another location with currently 2 employees has also been opened in Munich and simplifies the process because business development, online marketing, business intelligence, and IT, personal and finance are bundled there. “Our team works hard and with all its passion on our products and keeps making them better. We are pleased that our products and innovations are so well received by more and more customers and that they create unique and individual driving experiences for them, ”said the Ceo of RaceChip, Dominic Ruopp.

RaceChip's Half Mile ... 500.000 sold Chip's

In order to present the product even more tangibly, RaceChip 2015 has two show cars in the form of one Porsche Macan Turbo & VW Golf VII R put on wheels (we reported). Both vehicles are of course powered by the innovations from RaceChip. The RaceChip Ultimate including the Connect Feature is used in the Golf R. Launched as a world first at the end of 2014, the RaceChip installed in the engine compartment communicates via Bluetooth with the driver's smartphone, who can use the RaceChip app to select the predefined power levels that are personally tailored to the corresponding engine. The Macan, on the other hand, has the popular RaceChip Ultimate including SENT technology. RaceChip has responded to the constantly growing digitization of vehicle sensors and is now also offering the increase in performance for engines that have digital signal transmission of sensor data. “Both show cars really showed off our products and the RaceChip driving experience. This can be seen in the feedback from the various testers and the comments we received in connection with the published test reports. This feedback confirms that we are on the right path to further develop RaceChip and chip tuning as such. In 2016 we will be able to record further big steps for our company development ”, said Dominic Ruopp.

Both developments ensure that there is a continuous expansion of the range of products, chip tuning products from RaceChip are available for more than 3.000 different types from over 60 manufacturers, and the range is constantly growing. This of course resulted in the increase in sales, so it was no wonder that the 500.000th RaceChip was allowed to travel from Göppingen to Munich at the end of January. Thanks to a RaceChip Ultimate, the customer vehicle, an Audi A6 Avant with a 3.0 TDI V6 engine and 245 hp series output, now has a powerful 311 hp.
