Speed and heat - no problem with the right racing tires!

The pulse rises, the muscles tense, and a particularly large amount of adrenaline flows through the veins in addition to hot blood. Our body and mind are in a state of emergency, which lets us run to our top form and for the moment time and space seem to stand still - the only thing that is really important right now is the now. We're talking about extreme sports. For many years, actually since the beginning of human history, we have loved the challenge and the chance to prove ourselves and to feel real life on our own body. How this state is achieved differs from person to person. Mountaineering and skydiving can be options, but car races with their special appeal are also very popular, and for good reason!

Tyre is not just Tyre

For car races you not only need the right vehicle and the right mindset, but above all the right tires. These are not tires for general road use, but tires specially made for this purpose racing tires. These have some characteristics that distinguish them from conventional tires and are therefore perfectly adapted to the conditions for a fair and exciting race. After all, a trip to the nearest supermarket cannot be compared at all with a racing situation, and everyday car tires would never be able to withstand a classic race full of speed and adrenaline.

Short service life, unbelievable driving pleasure

One of the key differences between the two types of tire mentioned is their respective resistance. Road tires keep their procurement significantly longer and thus ensure safe driving even after several years of use. On the other hand, however, they are not made to be exposed to particularly high levels. The load limit of road tires is already reached at around 40 degrees Celsius, and this should not be exceeded if possible. In particular, if you drive with winter tires in summer, you risk, among other things significantly longer braking distances. Racing tires, on the other hand, have a significantly shorter service life and should not be driven longer than 500 kilometers, but racing tires can withstand not only heat, but also heat and are designed for temperatures of up to 120 degrees Celsius.

In addition, racing tires have a better grip, which means they guarantee fast and safe driving fun even in sharp bends. One of the reasons for this is that racing tires have a different material composition. In contrast to road tires, for example, you often work with a larger amount of soot, as this material has proven to be particularly heat-resistant.

However, it is important to underline that racing tires should never be used for everyday use. There are good reasons why they are not allowed on public roads, and you should always adhere to them so as not to endanger others or yourself.
