Never get stuck again? Start-Up Traution invents innovative recovery system!

Anyone who has ever gotten stuck in mud or snow knows how frustrating and potentially dangerous this situation can be. In Germany, help can usually be called quickly, but in most cases the day is over. However, in developing countries or regions with extensive wilderness and challenging weather conditions, such a situation can cause serious difficulties. A novel invention by the start-up Traution GmbH could now solve the problem. The hydraulic recovery system developed by Traution is designed to prevent vehicles from getting stuck in mud or snow without being able to free themselves. It also allows vehicles to climb over obstacles.

 Recovery system from Traution

The innovative systems can be fitted to the underbody of any vehicle or quad and provide an instant solution when the vehicle is stuck - without the occupants having to exit. How does it all work? As soon as the vehicle is stuck, hydraulic gripping feet extend and lift the vehicle. With their coarse profile, the feet claw into the ground. The raised vehicle is then moved forwards or backwards on horizontal rails and then lowered again. This process can be repeated until the subsoil is passable again.

suitable for almost all vehicles

The hydraulic recovery systems from Traution can be retrofitted and can therefore be attached to almost any vehicle. They provide a safety feature similar to an airbag. It's better to have the system and never need it than to be stuck in a situation and not have a solution. The invention could make a big difference for drivers in areas with difficult weather conditions or in remote regions where quick help is not always guaranteed. With the ability to extricate itself from sticky situations, the hydraulic recovery system could save the day for many motorists. Photo credit: Traution GmbH
