Barracuda Racing Wheels caused a sensation at the Essen Motor Show last year with a spectacular and unusual new wheel design: the Tzunamee EVO, which has since established itself excellently. Now the rim specialists are getting ready to stir up the market with the next highlight: the Barracuda Project X from the Ultralight Series will be presented for the first time at the Essen Motor Show 2019. With its size of 10 × 22 inches and a high load capacity, the rim is especially designed as an SUV wheel, but is of course also ideal for other heavy vehicles such as luxury class sedans. Thanks to the wide range of available bolt circles from 5 × 108 to 5 × 112, 5 × 114,3 and 5 × 127 up to 5 × 130, the Project X is also suitable for exotic vehicles such as the US off-roaders from Jeep.
Production in flowforming process
Despite its generous size, thanks to its manufacture in the flowforming process, the weight is very low, depending on the pitch circle and the offset from 16 kilograms. The rim has its unique look thanks to the five three-dimensionally designed and crossed spokes along with the eponymous, X-shaped, brushed areas on the front. This also turns the car's about five centimeters concave wheel into a real eye-catcher. As color options are available either high gloss silver brushed or matt black brushed to choose from.
