Will the first “R” electric cars from Volkswagen be available soon? The rumors are piling up that the eGolf successor - VW ID (comes to the end of 2019) - and any other ID models could also come onto the market in the sporty "R" version. It is not yet clear which ID model will receive the "R" package and whether it will come that way at all, but if other manufacturers such as BMW already put this idea into practice with the i3s, it will probably be similar at Volkswagen sooner or later . The ID models announced so far are the VW ID, the Crossover ID Crozz, the ID Vizzion sedan and the really successful ID Buzz e-bus. We are excited.
