Especially for vehicles with historical registration there are various legal options for customizing and improving the performance of US cars. The Internet enables car owners to order tuning parts that are prohibited in Germany. However, if you install / have unauthorized parts installed during autotuning, you risk losing your operating license and insurance cover. That's why nobody should order tuning parts for their US car at their own discretion - inspired by a movie. Instead, he should seek advice from a tuning company he trusts, which parts meet the strict rules of TÜV / DEKRA and survive traffic controls. Exceptions apply, of course, to vehicles that are not used in traffic.
