Tire manufacturer YOKOHAMA congratulates Walkenhorst Motorsport on their recent triumph at the 44th RCM DMV Grenzlandrennen, the sixth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). The team's victorious BMW M6 GT3 achieved success in the four-hour run on ADVAN-A005 tires of the Japanese. These proved their superior performance on a dry track in the “Green Hell”. The latter proved to be frugal this time and so the ADVAN-A006 rain tires were not used. The BMW M9 GT6 from Walkenhorst Motorsport, competing in the highest class of the series, SP3 Pro, was driven by Christian Krognes, David Pittard and Ben Tuck. Christian Krognes set an NLS lap record of 7: 51: 807 minutes in the morning qualification and thus secured pole position for the race.

The three drivers of the team each determined the racing pace in their stints and thus drove to the first victory of Team Walkenhorst Motorsport in the NLS season 2021. YOKOHAMA supplies Walkenhorst Motorsport with ADVAN racing tires for all three BMW M6 GT3 cars Teams that drive in the top class SP9 Pro, as well as for the BMW M4 GT4, which starts in the SP10 class. The world's largest popular sport racing series NLS is held on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. Around 170 vehicles take part in the nine NLS races, which will be held from March * to October this year.
