All damage must be eliminated beforehand, because damage to the edge of the rim can cause the whitewall ring to rub through at the point and lead to a detachment process. For assembly, the wheel is first dismantled. Then the air is released from the tire and the tire is detached from the rim until the rim well is exposed. Then the white wall ring is simply placed on the tire. Now the tire is puffed up again. It is pumped until the tire and the ring is firmly connected to the rim base. Should it come to shifts, just a little air can be drained and repositioned the ring accordingly. Then the tire is inflated with the usual air pressure. Then the wheel can be mounted on the vehicle again. The assembled ring must rest with its edge firmly on the tire. The seat is important because otherwise the ring can detach and thus represents an accident risk.
