Expensive! Fines for incorrect parking / speeding sins increased!

Some tightening and higher fines are waiting for drivers within Germany. The Federal Council has recently approved changes to the road traffic regulations. These new regulations are to appear in the Federal Law Gazette shortly and are therefore valid.

There is still no escape lane in the event of slow traffic or even traffic jams. A corresponding fine was therefore imposed here too. Anyone who does not form a rescue alley in the future in the event of a traffic jam on the motorway or slow traffic will have to expect a fine of 200 to 320 euros in the future. In addition, a driving ban of one month and even two points can be imposed in Flensburg. This means that a driving ban can not be imposed if there is no specific disability.

Improper parking is not a trivial offense

If you park in the second row or on bike paths and sidewalks, you have to dig deep into your pocket. If this previously cost 15 euros, up to 100 euros will be due in the future. In the case of serious violations, there is also a risk of a point in Flensburg. In addition, it will no longer be possible in future to stop on the protective strip for cyclists, i.e. on the cycle lane separated by a dashed line. So far, drivers have been able to stand here for up to three minutes, which will generally be prohibited in the future.

Here: Information on towing costs!

In the future, parking will be prohibited at crossings and junctions with cycle paths. This must be adhered to up to 8 meters. If you violate this, you will have to pay up to 15 euros in the future instead of 25 euros. If you park incorrectly in confusing places, you can pay 35 euros instead of the previous 15 euros. Parking in places for the severely disabled previously cost 35 euros and under the new regulation up to 55 euros. In addition, unauthorized parking in parking lots for electric vehicles costs 55 euros.

If a motorist wants to overtake a cyclist, he will have to keep a minimum distance of 1,50 meters within built-up areas. Outside of built-up areas, this minimum distance is even 2 meters. In addition, a new traffic sign is introduced, which means that overtaking vehicles that are single-track, including bicycles, is absolutely prohibited.

Unfortunately, lawn is now normal, especially in closed towns. Anyone who does not comply with the speed limit and drives more than 21 km / h too fast within built-up areas runs the risk of a driving ban of one month. Exactly howling the engine will also be Auto posing called punished. Here, too, you have to dig deeper. So far only 20 euros were due, in the future it will cost up to 100 euros.

Every driver should remember the new changes so that proper driving is easier. These are just a few changes, for example, there is also a new traffic sign. The green arrow on traffic lights should only apply to cyclists, etc. PS: Do you know the strangest road traffic fines in this country and abroad? We have summarized them:Expensive! 1. Higher fines for illegal parking are primarily intended to act as a deterrent so that motorists are not even tempted to risk wrong parking. It therefore makes sense that fines should be increased if road traffic misconduct increases. Nevertheless, a motorist has the right to turn to a lawyer specializing in traffic law if he believes that he has been fined unjustifiably.
