Funky: With 338 km / h in the Porsche 911 GT3 through Austria

For decades, the Austrians have been jealous of the German motorways. The background is that in Austria it is not allowed to drive faster than 140 km / h. Until recently, only 130 km / h was allowed. This applies to motorcycles as well as cars. So what do you do with a at least 475 PS strong Porsche 911 (991.1) GT3 (or 500 PS 991.2 GT3 MY 2017/18 - from 152.416 euros) in Austria? You either hammer over the Salzburgring, the MJP Arena or another completed racetrack. Alternatively, take the time to take a little trip to Germany. But you should not let the penalty in the land of the mountains run wild. But that's exactly what an 34-year-old Austrian has done and was measured with his GT3 with a top speed of 338 km / h on the Western Motorway A1.

338 km / h are trotz lower factory specification feasible

Horrified car drivers had contacted the surrounding police station by phone, but the officials were also unable to stop the GT3 by ordinary means. With an average speed of 280 km / h from Melk in the direction of Amstetten, the officers made it to Oed (District Amstetten) only to stop the Raser with a moving road blockade. He was not even in possession of a valid driving license and, in addition, quite proud of his achievement. After all traffic violations were suggested to him, however, he showed himself understandable. Following a complaint to the district administrative board, a lawsuit is now underway that will definitely result in a fine of several thousand euros.
