Flensburg, November 11, 2022. Structural fractures of the spokes can occur on special wheels of the Scuderia 1775 wheel type, which can lead to loss of control over the vehicle when driving. The Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) warns against using the manufacturer's special wheels Esseruote of the Scuderia 1775 type. The special wheels do not comply with the regulations of the StVZO, the operational stability of the special wheels is not guaranteed. The affected special wheels can be recognized by the above designation, the profile picture shown above and the cast-in approval number. The special wheels listed have been manufactured and sold since 2019.

It cannot be ruled out that the special wheels were also imported into Germany. The KBA therefore publishes this warning. The use of these special wheels poses a safety risk, as the breakage of the special wheels while driving can result in a loss of control of the vehicle.
