The so-called Green arrow Allows drivers to turn right at a traffic light even though it is red. However, many drivers often use it incorrectly and there is a risk of fines. The green arrow originally comes from the GDR and was introduced in 1978. The entire Federal Republic uses it since March 1, 1994.
