A 24-year-old BMW driver from Austria presented his aggressive and reckless driving style in videos and posts in abundance on Instagram. The police became aware of the young Austrian from Oberpullendorf through the numerous, provocative postings in the social networks. As a result, the young speedster was given his driver's license for a year withdrawn. Incidentally, in Austria the driver's license is called a driving license.
BMW M2 Competition as a weapon
The young Burgenlander committed countless speeding violations with his 410 hp BMW M2 Competition. It drove neighbors crazy with screeching tires and explosive exhaust noises. He posted a large number of his deeds online on Instagram, relieving the police of a lot of investigative work. Because through his postings, the 24-year-old driver provided the police with all the necessary evidence and served them on a silver platter. In addition to videos where the unusually loud engine noises can be heard, the speeder posted photos / videos on which it could be seen that he was also driving the wrong way and without a license plate. But that's not all - the young man continued to publish videos showing that he was traveling at over 200 km / h. It should be mentioned that, unlike in Germany, the maximum speed of 130 km / h applies in Austria and is therefore a serious and consequential violation.

The unpleasant result for the speeder followed immediately: he has lost his driving license for 1 year. However, this is most likely just the beginning of the sentence, because his BMW M2 is checked by the responsible inspection agency of the provincial government of Burgenland. For the young Burgenlander, it has therefore worked for the time being freaked out - his driving career is now paused and all just for a few likes and comments. Was it really worth it? Finally, we would like to make it clear that driving a car can be fun, but that safety is always the top priority. Those who want to try out and let off steam at the wheel can use specially cordoned-off routes in order to avoid any danger or nuisance to other people.
