First of all, it is important to consider whether it is better to present the vehicle to the inspectors before selling it or not. A vehicle with a valid or even new HU will normally bring in a higher sales price than one without. waived if you go to the HU inspection, you have to accept cuts in price. Depending on the age and condition of the car, the difference in the selling price can quickly add up to a few hundred or thousands of euros. If the costs for the repair and main inspection are not higher than the difference to the sales price, it makes sense to bring the car through the HU before selling it. In other words: if you have to invest 1.000 euros to sell your vehicle for 700 euros more, you are unsurprisingly not getting a good deal and you should think twice about buying the vehicle without TUV for sale.
