Akrapovič presents exhaust system for BMW M3 and M4!

Akrapovič has expanded its already impressive range of exhaust systems and carbon accessories for BMW vehicles with the introduction of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) system and a carbon rear diffuser for the latest M3 (G80) and M4 (G82). In developing this exhaust system, an innovative and evolutionary design was created that touches the senses and shows how Akrapovič is pushing the boundaries of exhaust technology again and making full use of its capabilities. Made from race-proven materials, this high-quality, lightweight titanium system with handcrafted carbon tailpipes is an exhaust system that matches the ethos of vehicles born on the racetrack.

Lightweight sports exhaust system

The complete use of lightweight materials has resulted in an exhaust system that is 35% lighter than the series system and has a pair of collectors cast in the Akrapovič foundry. The Slip-On Line (Titanium) system comes with a specially developed Akrapovič Control Kit for a complete sound experience. The sound character offers a full tone during normal driving and increases to a deep, sporty sound when the M3 / M4 is driven more dynamically. The system delivers a perfect sound at all speeds and offers comfort and sportiness in an exhaust system.

An attractive new design for the tailpipes rounds off this exhaust system perfectly. The groundbreaking octagonal shape is made from lightweight titanium with a carbon outer shell. For the more traditional buyers, there is the classic cylindrical design, also made from these materials, but an update of the current Akrapovič range of tailpipes for BMW vehicles. A handmade carbon diffuser can be added for an additional visual effect. This lightweight accessory from in-house production has an ABE and was developed to bring out the best of the tailpipes of the Akrapovič exhaust system.

Power increase of 10,9 hp and 13,9 Nm

The performance of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) system is another impressive factor, with a power increase of 8,0 kW (10,9 PS) at 6.000 rpm and a torque increase of 13,9 Nm at 5.000 rpm Comparative test on the Akrapovič test bench with a BMW M4 Competition with a standard exhaust system. No reprogramming is required for this configuration and it meets the EC / ECE type approval requirements for vehicles with petrol particulate filters. The increased performance enriches the possibilities of the system and, together with the innovative design, the wonderful sound and the impressive optics, makes it a product that is at the forefront of exhaust system technology.

Of course, that wasn't the end of it!
