On this important occasion, the Slovenian manufacturer of high-performance exhaust systems is presenting a strictly limited edition of 30 pieces of an exclusive exhaust system for the Ferrari F8 Tributo. The Evolution Line (Titanium) 30th Anniversary * exhaust system for the Ferrari F8 Tributo will be added to the company's portfolio as a unique system on the occasion of the 30th anniversary. Each copy is individually engraved with a special 30 years Akrapovič logo and its own serial number to underline its authenticity and rarity. The exclusivity is additionally reinforced by a special certificate. This underlines the unique importance again.

Akrapovič has an impressive racing history and has leveraged its commitment to the highest levels of two-wheel and four-wheel racing to develop innovative, race-proven solutions and groundbreaking products over the past 30 years. This experience and knowledge went into the design of this unique exhaust system for a special car.

The main part of the system with a central silencer was made of high quality, lightweight titanium. The link pipes are made of Inconel. Complex parts such as the titanium housing of the exhaust valves and the outer shell of the titanium tailpipe as well as parts of the Inconel connecting pipes are cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry. The thermal insulation is made of titanium and each link pipe contains a 300 cpsi catalyst. The two tailpipes are made up of a cast titanium shell, which is then mechanically processed, and an inner part made of CMC (Ceramic Matrix Composite).

This ultra-light material, which is around 50 percent lighter than titanium, is regularly used for extreme solutions in racing and aerospace, as it can withstand extremely high peak temperatures of 1.000 degrees Celsius, making it an ideal material for the hot gases from high-performance exhaust systems and engines is. The use of CMC also ensures an impressive appearance, which confirms the technological and racing origin of the material.

More power by means of a sports exhaust system

An exhaust system that uses such advanced elements in its manufacture must also perform well, and the Evolution Line (Titanium) 30th Anniversary definitely meets this criterion. The system weighs 7,7 kg (28,8 percent) less than the series system thanks to the use of light, race-proven materials. With the two valves - one on each side of the link pipe - the targeted adjustment of the gas flow creates a breathtaking sound with a deep, racing sound that does justice to the 3,9-liter V8 engine with twin turbo charging . The output increases by an additional 13,2 kW (17,9 hp) at 5.650 rpm, and the torque by 33,6 Nm at 2.400 rpm.

These values ​​were determined on the Akrapovič test bench in comparative runs with a Ferrari F8 Tributo with a standard exhaust system. The system is also equipped with an Akrapovič Sound Kit, which enables the sound to be controlled from the cockpit. For example, with the sound remote control, vehicle occupants can easily switch between a quiet mode and a sportier sound by allowing the system to open and close the exhaust valves for a fuller and more engaging experience. Due to the nature of the exhaust system, software mapping is recommended; use is designed for closed racetracks and similar locations.

The Evolution Line (Titanium) 30th Anniversary exhaust system for the Ferrari F8 Tributo is a total work of art that perfectly reflects the knowledge and skills that Akrapovič has acquired and grown over the past 30 years.
