The company Autech Japan, Inc. comes from Japan and was founded in 1986. At that time, the focus was on special conversions and tuning of Nissan vehicles. This is still the case today, but currently only tuning parts are manufactured. But between 1989 and 1991 they were also briefly active as manufacturers of automobiles. The only vehicle from Autech was the Autech Stelvio AZ1 from 1990. A bizarrely styled coupe with 2 + 2 seats and bodywork by Zagato. The base for the AZ 1 was a Nissan Leopard and under the hood sat an engine with 3.000 cc displacement and two turbochargers with an output of 280 hp.
