The ARB 4 × 4 accessories team specializes in off-road accessories for vehicles. Sales are currently (as of 05.2021) through branches in Europe, Australia, USA, New Zealand, Thailand and an export network that extends over more than 100 countries. The origins of ARB go back to 1975, when company founder Tony Brown was inspired by an off-road tour through Australia. He wanted to develop accessories for off-roaders that primarily withstand the harsh conditions in Australia. Tonys manufactured and tested many components on his then Land Rover of series 1. This experience gave rise to the idea of bringing mature, long-lasting equipment onto the market that meets the high demands of 4WD owners.
