The first BRABUS 1-Second-Wow-Effect on two wheels goes into the next round with the world premiere of a new chapter of the collaboration between the leading European motorcycle manufacturer KTM and the renowned German luxury mobility brand BRABUS. Following the entry of the luxury mobility brand into the world of exclusive, modern motorcycle construction, this heavily limited special edition is the successor to the BRABUS 1300 R from 2022. A direct further development of its predecessor, which combines the best of both brands, new characteristic features and a own identity. Production will be limited to 290 machines available in select markets, opening the door to an elite lineup of BRABUS Night Riders.
BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23
The BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 is luxurious design, BRABUS typical attention to detail and ultra-limited exclusivity. Designed to make a statement and to combine pure energy with absolute naked bike precision, the new Edition 23 once again embodies the best of both brands with its aggressively elegant look, functionality and power.
Recurring and further developed highlights of the BRABUS design DNA, including two unmistakable color schemes, forged BRABUS Monoblock Z-wheels, high-quality carbon body elements and a stylish driver's seat made by the BRABUS interior specialists in Bottrop with great attention to detail, define the unique and sporty character of the bike and provide an immediate 1 second wow factor.
Basis: KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO
The platform of the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 remains the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO. Built for the best performance on two wheels, this model offers a state-of-the-art driving experience, uncompromising ergonomics and the beating heart of the Edition 23: an LC8 V-Twin engine that develops 1.301 kW / 132 hp at 180 rpm and 9.500 Nm of torque at 140 rpm. The BRABUS twin-pipe slip-on exhaust system underscores its unmistakable character as well as its massive sound. The BRABUS 8.000 R Edition 1300 expands its "Black and Bold" identity with a number of new features.
A striking headlight mask with visible carbon side panels, power domes and BRABUS signature stripes in the air supply accentuate the unique face of the Edition 23. Newly designed side parts and air ducts are a further homage to decades of experience in processing prepreg carbon. In keeping with the sporty flair of the design, the ultra-light, one-piece carbon fiber underbody now features a completely new passenger cover. This upgrade gives the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 a more compact and powerful silhouette that picks up on the design of the ignition lock cover and matches the color of the body.
The heated seat has been reupholstered in true BRABUS style and features the extremely elegant BRABUS "Crest" seam pattern. The new handlebar end mirrors round off the unique appearance of the motorcycle and can be adjusted with millimeter precision at any time. Inspired by the brand's exclusive 1-second-wow supercars, the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 is also equipped with BRABUS Monoblock Z forged wheels. State-of-the-art manufacturing processes and a brand-new "Platinum Black" finish ensure the unmistakable BRABUS look and maximum strength.
Color variants: "Super Black" & "Stealth Gray"
To give the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 an additional touch of individuality, it is available in two color variants - "Super Black" and "Stealth Gray". Production is limited to 145 machines for both variants and available in selected markets. From a technical point of view, the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 uses the latest, semi-active WP APEX suspension technology. It allows the driver to choose between six special driving modes: COMFORT, STREET, SPORT, TRACK and ADVANCED. The driver can activate this individually or opt for AUTO mode, which automatically adapts to the road surface and the prevailing driving conditions.
