The tuning company Carlsson car technology has been responsible for all types of Mercedes-Benz models since 1989. The name “Carlsson” is therefore a well-known term in the Mercedes tuning scene! And with the new subsidiary Carlsson Peninsula, this is what they want for fans of the brand Hyundai his. In addition to Mercedes, the Mercedes tuner Carlsson is now also responsible for modified Hyundai vehicles! The “Peninsula” label now has “German tuning parts” for the Korean brand. And such a combination is by no means common. The first vehicle of the sub-brand was a Hyundai i30 N Fastback which was presented at the Essen Motor Show 2019 as the Peninsula i30 N. The establishment of "Carlsson Peninsula" refers to the Korean peninsula and is a logical step for the company. The parent company of Carlsson Autotechnik has been a Korean company since 2016. And Carlsson Peninsula will offer the tuning program in the form of rims, chassis, software, exhaust systems and body kits for the Hyundai brand. Various individualization requests for the interior are also available in the repertoire. The tuner then uses the in-house Carlsson upholstery shop for this. It is not known (as of 12.2019) whether Carlsson will also offer components for Kia vehicles later. More about the company is on carlsson-peninsula.de.
