dp motorsport

Ekkehard Zimmermann founded his company dp Motorsport in 1973 thanks to his passion for car tuning. His success story began with the cooperation with the manufacturer Motul. Almost 30 Formula Vee and Super V racers were created through the collaboration. Zimmermann left with the tuning, with his preference for the Porsche 911, give free rein to your creativity. He modified the rear and front spoilers and the Kremer brothers from Cologne noticed him. These were heavily involved in racing. For Kremer he developed new racing bodies based on the 911. The Kremer brothers and he became a solid team. In 1979, a conversion of the Porsche 925 won the overall victory in the Le Mans 24-hour race. The triumphant advance led to the USA. A third of them continuously modified the bodies. Only the roof of the 935 was original. International interest has grown steadily to this day. Zimmermann never left out a Porsche model. He and his son Patrick & Crew have always been concerned with optimizing the bodies and strengthening and emphasizing the silhouettes of the vehicles.
