Even more driving fun with the new wireless PedalBox Pro. DTE Systems expands its product range with a new one accelerator tuning! With the PedalBox Pro, DTE Systems is making its leading system even better for sportier driving dynamics without starting weaknesses. As an absolute innovation, PedalBox Pro includes wireless operation as well as optimized technologies and faster processes. It is also equipped with new features such as Limit Mode, Eco Mode and an immobilizer.
Wireless PedalBox Pro
The PedalBox Pro offers extended options to make driving fun even more individual. Thanks to the most advanced technology, the PedalBox Pro, which consists of a radio and a permanently installed receiver unit, can be operated completely wirelessly. With the modern wireless remote control in the unmistakable pedal boxdesign that fits comfortably on a bunch of keys, five different driving dynamics programs from efficient to very sporty characteristics as well as two new PedalBox features can be conveniently selected and adjusted. The actual control unit is connected directly to the gas pedal and installed invisibly behind the vehicle interior paneling.
Particularly noteworthy are the new exclusive PedalBox Pro functions:
- Eco mode: As the latest PedalBox program, the Eco Mode ensures a reduction in fuel consumption. The main savings potential results from the vehicle's softened throttle response, achieved through an adjusted accelerator pedal characteristic. No abrupt starts, no extreme acceleration processes, no unnecessary downshifting of the automatic transmission. An overall quieter driving leads to fuel savings.
- Limit mode: In limit mode, the PedalBox Pro limits torque, acceleration and top speed if desired, if a high-performance vehicle should be given to inexperienced hands. At the push of a button and adjustable in 7 levels, the PedalBox Pro ensures more safety and reduces the risk of damage. For example, novice drivers within the family or hotel employees who move the car in valet parking are safer on the road.
- immobilizer: PedalBox Pro secures the vehicle and protects against theft. In active mode, the accelerator pedal is only released by the PedalBox Pro at each start if the associated radio remote control or an authorized smartphone is within immediate range. As an independent system, the PedalBox Pro also protects against the well-known security gap in vehicles with modern keyless go, which can be criminally overcome with little effort and can lead to the theft of the vehicle.
