DTE Systems is expanding its products for commercial vehicles with the new PowerControl DX performance upgrade. The most flexible system from DTE to date increases productivity and performance and optimizes fuel consumption. Agricultural machinery with modern diesel engines often have reduced engine performance and limited tractive effort. PowerControl DX helps commercial vehicles to fully utilize their engine's capabilities, thereby reducing high-revving, fuel-intensive driving with heavy loads. To do this, it uses multi-map technology to coordinate up to eight injectors and an additional 4 sensors in real time, including injection time, rail pressure and boost pressure. This increases the engine output by up to 25%. At the same time, the adjustments reduce fuel consumption by up to 12%. The additional control device enables more yield with fewer resources.

Coordination of real load profiles

In addition, ongoing engine logging and analysis ensure flexible tuning for each machine. The PowerControl DX performance upgrade monitors load and engine conditions and, depending on the driving and load situation, adapts the engine performance and injection in a targeted manner.

Remote control

In addition to detailed data analysis, PowerControl DX supports a Bluetooth connection to the driver's smartphone for the first time. This allows drivers to conveniently switch the chip tuning on and off, and use various programs to individually adapt them to workforce, terrain and corresponding loads.

Commercial vehicle safety

For exact performance data, DTE measures the reference vehicles in several test runs according to standardized test methods on certified performance test benches. The integrated protective mechanisms in the control electronics protect the motor from overload and ensure the durability of the machine. In addition, an optional insurance protection of up to 3 years is available for the machine. A residue-free expansion of the additional power is possible at any time and allows the system to be used in other commercial vehicles after reconfiguration.
