Diesen Wolf we have to show you! The vehicle comes from the team EMC (Expedition Motor Company)who are "THE" specialists on the subject classic Mercedes G-Class understand. The vehicle was restored and rebuilt some time ago and of course it shouldn't be missing on tuning blog. Specifically, it is a 1991 Wolf 250GTD, which as an army off-road vehicle can now breathe fresh air again. It took almost 1000 man hours from the tuner Expedition Motor Company. Only then was the robust custom-made product completed. The G-Wagen army vehicle was stripped down to the frame and then everything was blasted onto bare metal to remove corrosion. Afterwards the components were coated with a rust-inhibiting permanent powder coating. Each component was meticulously inspected and modified, revised or completely replaced as required.

Then all body parts and even the housing of the drive train were professionally painted, which results in a paint surface that is now even of higher quality than the one from 1991. And of course the many porous rubber parts, including all bushings, the body mounts and hoses, were completely finished new components replaced. For the chassis, EMC relies on a combination of Eibach springs and modern Bilstein dampers, which significantly improves the ride quality both on and off the road. And also on the 2,5-liter five-cylinder diesel engine (Engine code OM602, successor to the OM617 engine family) did not leave any screw untouched. It was also dismantled into its components and then rebuilt with completely new seals, sealing rings, belts, pumps and all internal parts and attachments to be replaced. The factory-fitted five-speed manual transmission is still coupled to the in-line 5 diesel engine, but of course it has also been overhauled and now works with a new clutch. For this purpose, the transfer case and the differentials have been replaced.

And Last but not least one has decided on the cabin. Here the G-Class shows itself with a completely new leather interior in saddle brown.
