The tuning company 9ff Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH - since 2013 as 9ff Engineering GmbH operates - was founded in Dortmund 2001, it has specialized in the tuning of standard Porsche models. This includes the construction of various tuning parts and the corresponding development of Porsche conversions. The services of these vehicles are considerable. A very new project is the GTurbo 1200, which is based on the 997 GT3 and was tuned by 9ff to 881 kW (1.198 PS). This leads to an acceleration of 0 to 100 km / h in 2,8 seconds and to a maximum speed of 414 km / h. The forerunner of this super sports car is the 9ff GT9, in which the company placed the engine in a middle position for optimal weight distribution (instead of the usual rear engine in the 911 Porsche). Due to the car tuning, not much was left of the original Porsche body. The 9ff GT9 Vmax with 1.400 hp is a special version. In 2012, this vehicle was the first road-legal car in the world to set the still valid speed record of 437 km / h (as of 2019). There is more about the company 9ff.com.
