HRE Wheels presents new CRBN carbon program!

In principle, carbon rims are not necessarily something new. The start was marked by Koenigsegg, who consciously and sustainably developed carbon rims and since then there have been companies like Shelby American, Carbon Revolution & Co. already have one or the other carbon rim in series. And now the manufacturer follows HRE Performance Wheels with the CRBN program. Initially, however, the CRBN program will not include the rim star made of carbon manufacture. Instead, it's a combination of forged aluminum rim stars to create an ultra-lightweight wheel that's still strong enough to withstand the rigors of a racetrack. A statement from Alan Peltier (CEO of HRE Wheels): "With carbon wheels becoming more widely available from multiple vendors, we knew the material and technology was finally ready to achieve our goals with carbon fiber. The exciting thing for us is that the CRBN rim is just the beginning of HRE's use of exotic materials and advanced manufacturing methods. Our goal is to keep pushing the limits so we continue to exceed the demanding expectations of our customers who own the best and fastest supercars and hypercars in the world."

four different variants already available

The start marks the HX1 rim of the CRBN series, which will be available in four versions. The variants are called HX100 Mesh, HX101 Y-Spoke, HX104 V-Spoke and HX107 Split 5-Spoke. The available dimensions for all four are 20, 21 and 22 inches. And HRE takes great care during production to ensure that no seams are visible and that a perfect carbon surface is created. And when you look at the photos from HRE, you know it worked. As always with HRE, each wheel is built to order, so any number of custom finishes are available. The carbon rim base with bronze-colored aluminum star, which can be seen in some photos, is one of the most beautiful wheel designs we have ever seen.
