MTM Motorentechnik Mayer is a German small series manufacturer and vehicle tuner. This car tuning provider became known worldwide through spectacular high-speed test drives with the company's own test vehicle "Bimoto". This is equipped with two motors and is based on the Audi TT model. The company was founded in 1990 by engineer Roland Mayer in Wettstetten. This provider specializes in increasing performance by changing engine signals. Initially, the tuner focused on models from the Audi brand. MTM now also offers tuning for the brands Bentley, Lamborghini, Skoda, Seat and VW at. The company works closely with the racing car supplier Nitec Engineering. MTM Motorentechnik Mayer was also active in car racing. In 1999 an Audi A4 Quattro equipped with an MTM engine won the 24-hour race in Zolder.
