The motorsport department of Nissan named Nismo (Nissan Motorsports International), which was founded on September 17, 1984, is not only responsible for all racing activities of Nissan vehicles, but also offers, similar to AMG or M GmbH, tuning parts for series vehicles as well as sporty ones special models. Accessories for the sportiest Nissan models are particularly popular, but even small cars and compact vehicles of the brand are refined by the in-house tuner and their engine performance is increased. The company, which is a full member of the Renault-Nissan Group, is based in Tokyo's Minami-Oi district. Particularly popular Nismo models are vehicles from the GT-R and Z series, of which Nismo special series can or were ordered ex works. Of course, tuning parts from Nismo can also be delivered to Europe and can usually be attached to the vehicle in the European Union without any problems.
