Rinspeed is a company from Zumikon in Switzerland. Today, managing director Frank M. Rinderknecht and his team are mainly concerned with the construction of prototypes, mobility concepts and advice on innovations and event marketing. The company looks back on a long history. In 1977 Frank Rinderknecht founded the "Rinspeed Garage". Today's Rinspeed AG was established two years later. At the beginning of the 1980s, the company first moved to Zurich. Despite an expansion in 1986, Frank Rinderknecht's company relocated to nearby Zumikon in 1990, which went hand in hand with an expansion of the location. In 2008 the company sold the tuning entirely to the Swiss company Mansory, However, this does not stop Rinspeed from continuing to develop spectacular prototypes and to present one world first after the other.
