SARD Corporation

SARD Corporation stands for Sigma Advanced Racing Development. SARD is a Japanese tuning company and a racing team from Toyota, which mainly competes in the Super GT series and specializes in Toyota tuning parts. The company was founded in 1972 as Sigma Automotive Co., Ltd by Shin Kato to develop and manufacture parts and accessories for motorsport and to operate its own racing team. After a lengthy hiatus, SARD returned to international motorsport in 1989 and debuted as a Toyota-supported team called Toyota Team SARD with a Toyota 89C-V. SARD is currently competing in the JGTC and Super GT series with Toyotas and Lexus vehicles. In 2016, SARD won the first Super GT championship with a Lexus RC F. In addition, SARD develops and manufactures tuning parts for Toyotas. The focus is particularly on turbochargers, fuel systems, cooling systems, chassis parts and aerodynamic kits.
