For those who want to put the W 212 AMG 63 under pressure, for example, there is now a Turbocharger upgrade from the Turbo Center Berlin. The result culminates at best in an insane 850 hp, which the 5,5-liter V8 (M 157 DE 55 AL) from Mercedes-Benz / AMG then delivers. Compared to the series with either 525, 557 or 585 hp, this is of course a huge announcement. And the upgrade is not only available for the E-Class, but also for the first generation of the GLE 63 (C 292) or the 63 S-Class (W 222) is equipped with it. The TurboZentrum installs a Stage 2 optimization, which differs from a Stage 1 variant in the size of the compressor wheel, among other things.

To do this, not only the wheel dimensions and the contour of the compressor wheel have to be calculated exactly, since everything has to fit into the compressor housing, but also the rest of the turbocharger, such as the exhaust shaft, has to be able to cope with it. The special thing about the upgrade chargers from TurboZentrum, the compressor wheels are milled according to our own specifications and thus the maximum of power development, response behavior and maximum performance can always be achieved. For this purpose, the compressor housing is milled to the new size and the gap size is also optimized. Finally, all Stage 2 upgrades get reinforced bearings and the OEM upgrade loader (used turbochargers can also be converted) ready for use in the AMG.
