We have seen the days on Facebook again an ad that draws attention with a well made video. The product is advertised DiamondProtect windscreen protection which sees itself as a nano seal for the car window. But what is that supposed to be? It is said: "DiamondProtect is revolutionizing driving with a nano-sealing" which you can simply apply yourself as windshield protection. Allegedly, the windshield is better protected against stone chips and the DiamondProtect windshield protection should also ensure a clear view in the rain.

But how does that work?

The DiamondProtect windshield protection is a liquid glass seal for the windshield. You can simply apply it yourself and the sealing cloths supplied are intended to help. The liquid glass creates a wafer-thin, transparent coating on the windshield and the clear view should be particularly good in the rain.

No windshield wipers anymore?

Well at least almost. The windshield protection should at least ensure that at higher speeds, the windscreen wipers remain almost unused. The seal is phobic What does that mean, apart from water, oil and dirt hardly adhere anymore? Starting at low speed, the rain should simply roll off the disk. DiamondProtect claims even the windshield protection produces up to 500% better visibility in the rain.

2. The seal

Usable for all vehicle types

It is a liquid protective layer which is applied by means of sealing cloths. This has the advantage that DiamondProtect is not limited to certain cars but can be applied to any windshield. Of course DiamondProtect can also be used for any other disc, but for us the meaning really only opens up for the windscreen. However, we particularly like the idea of ​​optimizing the windshields on motorcycles with the "protectet" liquid glass protection because every motorcyclist knows the problem of being able to hardly see anything through the partly small shields in heavy rain.

Almost a bit surreal DiamondProtect acts in snowfall. You can see the snowflakes coming directly to the car, but not a drop on the windscreen collects. For the first moment that is quite a habituation that reminds a little of an optical illusion. So even with snowfall a worthwhile and very effective thing.
