Classic spare parts program “Heritage Parts” expanded further

One of the many fascinating projects of Heritage - the Stellantis department for classic Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia vehicles - is “Heritage Parts”, the range of spare parts for youngtimers. The project, which was developed together with Mopar®, the brand for repair services, original spare parts and customer service for the vehicles of the group, offers faithfully reproduced components for vehicles that are no longer available in normal stores today.

Spare parts program "Heritage Parts"

At the end of 2019, the project started with the front and rear bumpers for Lancia Delta HF Integrale and Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione. It continued with bumpers for the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA, as well as a practical set with special products for the care of classic cars. The uniqueness of the “Heritage Parts” offer is based on the production using original molds and original tools, which are carefully stored in the group and guarantee the highest quality and perfect fit of the spare parts. This procedure also ensures that the classic vehicles can be repaired or restored in full compliance with the respective type approval.

Building on the success of the first spare parts brought onto the market, “Heritage Parts” is now expanding its range to include seven specific body parts for the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione: the bonnet, the fenders and the outer skins for the rear doors. The new additions to the official spare parts catalog from Heritage are manufactured using molds that have been created through so-called reverse engineering. For this purpose, the components sought were extensively scanned on a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione from the company's historical collection in order to be able to produce new negative forms with the help of this data. The sheets themselves are made from a low-carbon steel alloy. It is the same as the original components from the 1990s, but refined and better protected by additional electroplating.

In addition to these new, faithfully reproduced spare parts, there are already 31 other original parts in the Heritage catalog. Depending on availability, they are available for the youngtimers Alfa Romeo GTV / Spider, Alfa Romeo GT, Alfa Romeo 147, Alfa Romeo 156, Fiat Coupé and Fiat Barchetta. These include ten different control units for fuel injection and 21 body parts, including bumpers, fenders, doors, tailgates and bonnets. The spare parts from the Heritage program help to secure the ideal and financial value of these youngtimer models. In addition, given their limited availability, they can be a valuable investment for the future. The products from “Heritage Parts” can be ordered via the authorized Stellantis dealer network or directly via the Mopar® online shop.

While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
