With Tire Bombs on the tires, you're not only up to date in the tuning scene. Set your statement, your way of life, set accents and make your vehicle a real eye-catcher. But with Tire Bombs you can also experience some disadvantages. These come with time and can hardly be avoided, according to reports. Make sure you have a good color quality and a neat attachment of the adhesive template. Although you can rework individual areas with a spirit / gasoline / nail polish remover, but you have little time and in addition, the solvents can also damage the tire.

In any case, a highlight on the vehicle

The high quality of your purchased Tire Bomb (also tire-spray, stencil, tire-Stencil gennant) shows up after the first car washes. In some reports, it can be read that Tire Bomb fans report that the layers of paint sometimes quickly peel off through the washes and often look ugly after the first car wash. One reason for this may be that the Tire Bomb is not properly dried in the last pass, and a tattered tire surface or inferior color quality may also cause the Tire Bomb to peel off.

The step by step guide will show you how easy it is to attach a Tire Bomb.

  • Step 1:
Remove the tire and remove any rubber studs on the tire side to allow the film to conform perfectly to the tire.
  • Step 2:
Thoroughly clean the tire and pay attention to a non-greasy surface. Waxed, oiled or sealed tires you have to try to get rid of the funds. Made possible by the special tire cleaner which is also solvent-free to buy.
  • Step 3:
Temporarily attach the Tire Bomb film first and check if you have the Tire Bomb centered and evenly positioned.
  • Step 4:
Activate the foil by gently heating it with a hot air blower. The heat makes the film elastic and can now be pressed with the fingers on the tire. Make sure that the film is completely on the tire and no bubbles or bumps occur.
  • Step 5:
Now glue off the spots that should not come in contact with the paint. For this you can use painter's foil, newspaper remains and painters crepe to fix.
  • Step 6:
Now you can apply the special color for the Tire Bomb. The tire should be in a lying position in front of you. For a high-quality Tire Bomb you should apply at least 3-5 layers and allow each layer to dry for about 10 minutes. Before you remove the foil stencil again, you should allow the last coat to dry for about 20 minutes.
  • Step 7:
The Tire Bomb now needs a few hours to dry out, because after the short time only the upper layers have become solid. So that the lower layers can dry well, you should leave the tire about 12-24 hours. Small impurities, splashes of color and small mishaps can be dealt with within a few minutes, for example with an acetone nail polish remover.
