Jorge might not be the die-hardest fan of the Fast and Furious franchise, but he's definitely one of the most dedicated as he has perhaps the world's largest collection of replica cars from the popular film franchise. In the fifth episode of "Roads Untraveled", which went online a few weeks ago and is embedded below, there are over 20 of the well-known Fast and Furious vehicles as a replica to see. None of the vehicles is an original! According to the video, Jorge lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and currently owns a garage in the country where he keeps his “treasure” with 96 wheels. The collection of replicas currently includes 24 vehicles from relatively unknown vehicles to Doms Charger. And Jorge has 9 more in the works, so he thinks he will soon be able to present 35 finished replicas.
Fast and Furious Replica Collection
He gets a lot of vehicles from Japan and then searches the Internet for parts that need to be converted. It can take many months for a replica to actually be completed. A statement at the end of the video reveals that he really enjoys it. There Jorge states that he will possibly build well over the 35 planned vehicles. Some of the highlights of the collection are a Bayside Blue painted Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, a Skyline GT-R, a Mazda RX-7 Veilside Fortune, the Charger from Dom, the orange Supra from Brian O'Conner and the white VW Jetta from the first part. Jorge also mentions in the video that not all replicas are completely correct. With the collection, he is more interested in building vehicles that are very similar to the originals.
