One would think that a three-liter, six-cylinder in-line engine (B58) with 24 valves and 250 kW (340 hp) is enough for the Supra to defeat quite a few competitors as a sports car. And that is actually the case, which means that since the market launch, countless Supras on the dragstrip have failed, in some cases without any problems, from other power SUVs, muscle cars and even modern electric vehicles. But the Supra also has enough power to to blow a fourth generation VW Golf? But of course we think so no standard Golf from the 2000s.
1.200 hp and more than 1.200 Nm
Because even the then strong and rare 3.2 R32 MK4 with 241 hp would be hopelessly inferior. (Edit: Unfortunately the video on YouTube was deleted, but we found another one from the MK4 Turbo and embedded it) The vehicle from the following videos still looks halfway like eggn normal two-door Golf, the turbocharged R32 engine under the hood is as far away from the series as the moon is from earth. The racer could be seen on the Race1000 at Neuhardenberg Airport and it was built by Don Octane and Kevin Buczoir. The R32 turbo engine currently has 1.200 hp and more than 1.200 Nm.
- Base: VW Golf R32 with four-wheel drive 4Motion and with Haldex differential (6,4 seconds at 100 km / h)
- 0-800 meters in 17 seconds and with 305,3 km / h
- 3,2-liter VR6 engine from 241 PS and 320 Nm tuned to approx. 1.150 - 1.200 PS & approx. 1.200 NM
- Motorsport rims in black
- sports suspension
- Cage and stripped cabin
- Carbon bonnet
- modified front apron
- no exterior mirrors
- dark headlights
