In 1902 the American company Cadillac was founded. The first car was the Model A, equipped with a single cylinder engine that developed ten horsepower. 4 years later the D model appeared - a full 30 hp and a four-cylinder engine. During the Second World War Cadillac was forced to develop war equipment. From 1944 even the main battle tank M-24 was produced. After the war, the company quickly returned to its roots and the 1948er models shaped the body designs of all American automakers. Even today Cadillac stands for luxury and exclusivity.
