Suzuki

Suzuki is a Japanese car manufacturer and after Honda the largest motorcycles exporter worldwide. The seat of the German distribution company is in Bensheim. The company 1909 was founded in Hamamatsu by Michio Suzuki. At first, Suzuki specialized in looms. Around 1930, demand for motor vehicles in Japan increased and Suzuki decided to develop its own automobile. 1937 presents the first prototype. With the Second World War, however, the car production was shut down to make room for military production. After the end of the war, in the year 1952, Suzuki introduced the first motorcycle. Three years later followed the Suzulight, the first successful small car. Even today, the Japanese manufacturer produces cars, motorcycles and outboard motors. In the tuning scene, the Suzuki Swift seems to be a favorite car. The little racer depends with his 140 PS many competitors. The tuned wagons can often be found at car tuning meetings. The best known is the Rice Flame at the Lausitzring. Every year, all Japanese car brands meet here.
