With the arrival of the new M2 (G87), it was already foreseeable that a veritable flood of projects would see the tuning world. And we even predict that the next generation will not only live up to its predecessor's highly acclaimed legacy, but surpass it. One of the reasons for this is that the M2 is the last M in the line that doesn't have an electrified engine. And the anticipation of what the tuning industry has up its sleeve is further fueled by recent images and a clip from Alpha-N Performance: The Designations "M2 CSL" and "M2 GT" make the heart of every M fan beat faster and the various aerodynamic kits deliberately evoke memories of the great heroes of M history.
the BMW M2 CSL by Alpha-N
The 'BMW M2 CSL' from Alpha-N Performance combines the appearance of the compact sports car with characteristic features, such as the rear spoiler embedded in the trunk lid, which immediately evokes associations with the M3 CSL (E46). To match the so-called ducktail rear spoiler, Alpha-N offers a matching diffuser, a modified Clubsport front spoiler with a carbon grill, a strikingly shaped carbon hood and carbon fender flares.
A Road & Track coilover suspension from Öhlins and 20 or 21 inch ProLine rims complete the CSL package. And the 'M2 GT' from Alpha-N is even more impressive: Finished in traditional British Racing Green, the M2 GT is an unmistakable homage to the BMW M3 GT (E36). Particular attention is paid to the “CLASS III” rear wing, which sits practically at roof height and, together with the associated front spoiler and adjustable splitter, gives the M2 an unmistakably racing appearance.
with gurney flaps and nine fenders
Carbon Gurney flaps and carbon fenders with air intakes provide further visual highlights, while one of the most aerodynamically important components is hardly noticeable: Alpha-N Performance even offers a carbon underbody panel for the new M2. In the case of the GT, there is also an adjustable Öhlins coilover suspension and champagne-colored rims from Edelweiss. The latter complete the striking look of the conversion.
