After lots of pickups and other offroaders (see the gallery at the bottom) shows us now the Polish tuner Carlex designthat they have just the right touch for the practical VW T6 bus. The tuner presents the limited edition "Jeral Tidwell V-SPORT" - VW T6 with a sporty aerodynamics package and a subtly refined cabin. But let's start with the exterior. The focus here is clearly on the specially developed body kit, which at first glance is a welcome alternative to the ABT Sportsline T6 is. The front bumper in particular looks extremely successful and gives the bus a sporty note. The apron comes with large air inlets as well as an underrun protection and integrated fog lights.
An eye-catcher is the off-center V-Sport lettering on a matt black background. This lettering can also be found in the side view if desired. Here you make the exclusive statement in the area of the side indicators and, in combination with a set of individual side skirts and mirror caps made of carbon, set an individual accent here too. And Carlex Design has also taken on the rear view of the T6. There is a large roof spoiler at a lofty height and a completely new rear apron with a sporty diffuser look. The diffuser on the presentation vehicle also has a 4-pipe sports exhaust system made of stainless steel and there is also a V-Sport sticker on the rear.
Incidentally, we find the 20 inch wheel set with the 5 thick spokes installed here particularly successful. Thanks to subtle lowering by means of Eibach lowering springs (-20mm), the wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch and, of course, this also ensures more temperament in bends. On request Carlex Design also supplies rims of the type Cades Kratos in 20 inches and with Pirelli P-Zero tires. In order to ensure the legally required coverage of the treads, small wheel arch extensions are also installed. And of course the guys also have something ready for the interior. Here, the maximum of 9 seats are covered with high-quality nappa leather in combination with lots of Alcantara and skilful accents are set with different colors, embroidery and Jeral Tidwell Embossing.
And the steering wheel is not left untouched either. The tuner upholstered the optional VW T6 multifunction steering wheel with leather and skilfully set it off with color accents. Small details such as the individual floor mats, which of course also have one Jeral Tidwell Edition Lettering, as well as the headrests with Carlex design embossing complete the interior for up to 9 persons.
