If there's one thing that never fails to amaze the automotive world, it's a classic vehicle tuned with the latest technology. And that's exactly what we have here with an impressive one Chevrolet K5 blazer from 1969 as Restomod. But this isn't just any tricked-out blazer, ladies and gentlemen. The special piece of jewelry was created by the team at Rock Bottom Offroad from Lake Elsinore in Southern California brought to life through countless hours of work. Back in the days when the GEN-I K5 Blazer was fresh off the assembly line, it came with a selection Inline sixes and V8s equipped, which varied between 4,1 and 5,7 liters. But that was back then.

Today the Blazer has a heart of pure muscle – one 6,2 liter LS3 engine, which many of you may know from the C6 Corvette from 2008. But wait, it gets even better! Thanks to one 1,9 liter Eaton TVS supercharger, also found in the GM LSA V8 in some mid-to-late 2010s Camaros and Cadillac models, the Blazer now pumps impressively 470 PS and full 651 NM torque to the wheels. But what good is all that power if you only put it on the road inefficiently? Don't worry, the blazer has it covered. The power is provided via a specially adapted one GM 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission to a robust one Dana 60 axis at the front and a specially reinforced axle at the rear.

And to ensure the Blazer can handle any terrain, there is a NP 205 dual-range transfer case and ARB locking differentials with 5,13 translations to it. And to top it all off, there was even a brand new one Four-link suspension installed all around, and the braking power is now provided by a state-of-the-art system Disc brake system. In short, the Chevy Restomod is not only an eye-catcher, but also a technical masterpiece. A big compliment to the team at Rock Bottom Offroad for the impressive creation!
