Volkswagen recently presented the new Jetta in America. The best-selling VW in North America shines in the self-confident Passat design and, like the Golf, Tiguan or Arteon, is based on the MQB platform. A pleasure that we will unfortunately not get here because VW will not offer the Jetta in Europe. Of course, the Wolfsburg will soon be well represented in the American tuning scene, but at the moment there are almost no tuning parts for the 2018 model. All the more impressive is the project by VW enthusiast and refiner Jamie Orr, who brought a completely modified Jetta to the SEMA auto show. Body kit, alloy wheels, lowering and changes in the interior - everything in it and everything, The body kit comes from the 3D printer and is currently still a prototype created in cooperation with ECS Tuning.

To him belongs a discreet spoiler lip for the front bumper, sporty canards, custom-fit side skirts and a rear spoiler lip and a rear diffuser. The body kit will later be made of plastic or fine carbon and to show that you have a small part of the spoiler not painted. And also the wheel set is specially made for the Jetta. These are two-part Work Wheels Alloy wheels type T5R 2P in 20 inch. To ensure that these fit accurately and consistently in the wheel well, of course, had a lowering for the Jetta ago. Here it was decided Orr for Clubsport threaded strut legs with triple adjustable damping supplied by suspension specialists at KW Suspensions. And who looks closely recognizes also a modified brake system.

A Brembo six-piston system with ECS tuning brake discs at the front and the brake system of the Golf-R on the rear axle brings the Jetta to a standstill. The best delay values are thus guaranteed. And this braking performance may soon be urgently needed. At the moment the 1,4 liter TSI is still in series production, but Jamie Orr has already announced major changes for the coming year. And at least the four-cylinder is already pretending to be a really big one. This is made possible by a Borla sports exhaust system with 4 tailpipes which is fitted in the new diffuser and provides the necessary sound. And the interior has also already been upgraded.

The highlight here are the Recaro A8 seats, but also small details such as the VW Performance pedals, the Black Forest gear knob, the Golf R steering wheel and the new floor mats. Hats off to the achievement of putting this vehicle together in around 6 weeks. We currently do not have any more details about Jamie Orr's Jetta.
