It was a long time ago when standard rims were no larger than 15 inches. Nowadays, most vehicles are fitted with 17 inch or larger rims as standard. And for some vehicles you can even opt for significantly larger wheels ex works. For example in the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door coupé. It can be equipped from the factory with 19 to 21 inches. And of course the accessories market enables even more. Bigger than 21 inches? No problem. But will even larger rims ruin the elegant appearance of the four-door AMG? 22 inches maybe not, 23 inches probably and a set of 24 inches certainly. At least that's how we see it! The best example are these 24 inch Forgiato rims on this AMG GT 4-door. Most of the rest of the vehicle is standard apart from that Foil with a black stripe over the bonnet, roof and rear window.

But the turbine-style wheel set in glossy black and pearl white is definitely not standard. And he even sets the Benz higher. Since the conversion, the ground clearance has been higher than that of the standard AMG GT 53. Does that fit? We do not find! We know of course that "Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder". However, we have examined the vehicle extensively and have come to the conclusion that it definitely belongs in our tuning fail category because WE do not consider it beautiful.
