At this year's Honda Customs Competition 2024 “Bunker Imprint” from Turkey left the competition behind and took first place. With 37% of the votes The bike was named tuning creation of the year.
The competition took place in Biarritz, France, as part of the Wheels and Waves Festival, where a total of 16 bikes from 9 countries were shown.
The winner: »Bunker Imprint« from Turkey
The Turkish creation, which is on the CL250 based, impresses with its retro café racer look and the use of the latest technology. 3D printed parts and Fiberglass reinforcement give it a futuristic look that is still reminiscent of classic café racers.
The renovation is characterized by a aggressive design that with an upside-down front fork and a radially mounted brake caliper ensures sporty driving dynamics. With these elements, the Bunker Imprint was able to clearly stand out from the competition and impress.
2nd place: »Ocean's Track« from France
The runner-up, the Ocean's Track from France, knew how to impress. The motorcycle, which was CL500 based, is reflected in the Flat-track style with a colorful design. Particularly striking are the golden rims and the red painted chassis. The French coastal town of Le Havre is the home of the machine, and the proximity to the sea is reflected in the relaxed but powerful look.
3rd place: »CL Surfer« from Germany
Third place went to the CL Surfers from Germany, who comes from the Honda Center Frankfurt. The custom bike impresses with a cool look that fits the beach and surf culture of the Wheels and Waves Festival. A Silver metallic tank, blue stripes on the fenders and a tuning exhaust add to the stylish look. The combination of surf style and motorcycle culture makes the bike so special.
4th place: »Alpina 500« from Switzerland
Fourth place went to the Alpina 500 from Switzerland by Master Engineering. The custom bike was built for the 50th anniversary from Honda Switzerland and combines traditional elements with modern details. The frame was shortened, the tank of an old CL was redesigned and the Rims covered with chrome. Particularly the Mountain motifsthat are integrated into the design.
5th place: »Enduro 500« from Spain
In fifth place was the Enduro 500 from Spain, a bike that was Stilmoto from San Sebastián. It is a tribute to the golden era of Spanish enduros and impresses with its chunky tires, a raised front fender and a Arrows silencer. With the red tank and golden rims it captures the spirit of classic off-road bikes.
The Honda Customs Competition: Creativity and individuality in focus
This year’s motto Express Yourself showed Hondathat the customizing competition is more than just a show event. The CL models are a perfect basis for anyone who wants to give free rein to their creativity.
