Today we have the "Nigrin tire seal" as a quick breakdown help (inexpensive alternative to Cookware set) without changing wheels. It can be used for tubeless tires up to a rim size of 16 inches but, according to the operating instructions, may not be used on wheels with tire pressure sensors. There are no sensors built into our vehicle, so we could try it out. However, the breakdown spray does not have an additional compressor. So the branch channel has to be sealed as soon as possible after the propellant has been filled. At least it should be covered with sealant. If this is not the case, the propellant gas can escape unhindered via the branch duct. It would be out of the tire before you can even start driving. This is only possible if the leak is on the floor.
Nigrin tire sealing breakdown help wheel change
In this way, on the one hand, the branch channel can be easily sealed by the subsurface and on the other side, the sealant can collect over the branch channel. So if you have a hole in the tire and you also know its position, then you should proceed like this. If it doesn't, there is a good chance it won't work. The situation with our car was a little more special. Our rim has a slight material defect in the form of 2 tiny pores. The air escapes through this after a good 1-2 weeks, which was very annoying in the long run. Air had to be topped up again and again. So we tried the Nigrin tire seal as a quick breakdown help without changing a wheel. Did it work? You can see that in our short video! Info: What is the truth of the rumor that nitrogen in tires is much better than air? We did some research.
So far so good! But what if the steering wheel vibrates suddenly when accelerating or braking? What if the whole vehicle shakes and you have no idea where the imbalance is coming from? Then maybe our contribution on the topic "Car vibrates or wobbles while driving - why?"!
