The old 8-series coupe of the E31 series is one of the most popular BMW models ever. And since there was no off-the-shelf air ride for the first generation 8 Series, one had to be specially developed.

Some of the worn undercarriage components were previously restored or directly replaced and changes were also required for the airlift kit. To install the air suspension, the trunk had to be modified to accommodate the air tank and the compressors. The result shows a lot clean trunk. After the Ultimate Dubs Show, the vehicle will probably receive further changes to accommodate a high-end sound system.
