The BMW 8er says goodbye in Japan with a “Mata ne” (means something like “See you soon”). Production of the model series consisting of the Coupé (G15), Cabriolet (G14) and Gran Coupé (G16) was discontinued for the Japanese market at the end of June.
But don’t panic – In Germany the 8 Series continues to be available as usual. But what does she do? Final edition in Japan so special?

BMW Japan is selling the latest edition of the M850i xDrive in three variants that combine luxury and sportiness. There is a choice of three paint finishes: saphirschwarz, mineral white and Tanzanite blue.
