The Grand Albaycin has been available for sale since last year with both a fabric top and a Targa version with a metal roof. But the special edition is new and increases the exclusivity even more. Because according to Hurtan, only six vehicles will be manufactured. They all feature the well-known retro design reminiscent of the sports cars of the 1950s and 60s. There are no changes to the body, but there are new rims and a more refined cabin.

Interested parties can choose from three finishes (Lead Grey, Cherry Red and Midnight Blue) and two interior designs are also available. The pictures show the sporty roadster with the manually folding fabric roof and with a hardtop. Hurtan has also stated that it will sell the MX-5, which is turned completely inside out, with a choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. Especially if you just focus on the looks on the outside, it's hard to tell that it's an MX-5. The lines and every little detail actually looks like a British roadster from the 60s. And that's not even that far-fetched. Because the starting point, i.e. the old Miata NA, was deliberately given the design of the post-war British roadsters.

While the exterior of the Grand Albaycín may take some getting used to for some, the cabin is beyond reproach. The interior is much more luxurious than that of the MX-5.
