How is the Trumput airbox constructed?

This normally sucks the incoming air by means of negative pressure in reduced hoses. This creates a high pressure drop in the intake tract. The dynamic use of the Trumpet airbox, however, carries the air under high pressure on to the engine. Since it is oval designed, it can be versatile and thus install in almost all models. Their technical design optimizes the incoming airflow. The innovative "Trumpet" lies inside the box on the air outlet side. Its geometric shape increases the amount of air and uses a large air flow. There is no longer the usual pressure drop in the intake system. The airflow in the engine compartment, which generates the dynamic airstream, remains maximum.
Filtering in the Trumpet airbox
Inside the Trumpet airbox is a multi-layer, oiled filter with high filter efficiency, which hardly reduces the pressure of the intake air. Every engine needs an air filter, it protects against sand, dust particles, fragments etc. in the air stream. The Trumpet airbox is usually equipped with special filters that can be washed out and then reused. They are then oiled again. The procedure must be carried out in the normal inspection schedule (usually every two years) and costs very little.
