Over 800 HP using the V8 Hellcat engine in the Chevrolet C10!

Is this the ultimate pickup? A Chevrolet C10 restomod with the powerful 6,2 liter supercharged V8 of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. But of course not only the engine was somehow stuffed into the old pickup, the car was completely gutted and restored and equipped with the most modern components. But the highlight is of course the Chrysler HEMI 6.2 Supercharged V8 with 717 HP (at 6000 / min) and an incredible 880 Nm of torque (at 4000 / min). Incidentally, the crazy engine also uses the engine Challenger Demon and the new one Hellcat Redeye Top version that sends 594 kW (797 SAE-PS or 808 DIN-PS) and a maximum torque of 959 Nm torque to the rear wheels.

And now the Monster engine is actually installed in the small C10 pickup! Even with the Challenger SRT Hellcat 6-speed manual transmission and still only rear-wheel drive. Outstanding driving pleasure is guaranteed, which of course also includes the countless components from the modern era. For example, there is the individually adjustable air suspension, there is a huge brake system from Wilwood with 6-piston brake calipers at the front and 4-piston calipers at the back with perforated and slotted brake discs all around and also a new wheel set for the one from the builder SRT8C10 named vice. Namely, they installed 20 inch forged wheels from the shelf of HRE Performance Wheels. The rims have an ultra-deep rim base and are equipped with incredibly fat Mickey Thompson slippers, especially on the rear axle. And they are sorely needed, because the engine is even strengthened to 745 PS "on the bike" due to a few modifications such as a large K&N sports air filter, an upgrade pulley, larger injection nozzles and an individually adapted exhaust system.

That's easily 850 hp as well as in the limited “Demon”. And in the cabin, too, no stone was left unturned. Because here, too, everything is restored and in the condition of a new car. Worth mentioning are, for example, the digital Dakota instruments, the 3-spoke sports steering wheel made of aluminum or the classic car radio that is invisibly linked to a high-end sound system. And also with Despite all the changes, the C10 is still a good 800 pounds (approx. 363 kg) lighter than a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, so a little drag race between the two should be very interesting. The C-10 and the K-10 were also sold under the GMC brand, in 4 successful generations from 1959 to 2002. But there was certainly never such a model from the factory!
